CCLD Makerspace is temporarily closed to the public until further notice to stop the spread of COVID-19 (read more).
Tech and craft-related classes and workshops are offered each month on a rotational basis (upcoming classes will be listed below when they are available). All classes and workshops are free and intended for ages 10+ unless otherwise specified.

Digital Media Lab Certification at Steele
Become certified to use the Digital Media Lab. You must have a parent present if you are under 16. Once you have completed the certification class, you can use the Digital Media Lab at Steele independently.
3D Printer Certification at Steele
Become certified in the use of the 3D printers at the CCLD Makerspace in the Steele Memorial Library. Completion of the certification process will allow you to use the 3D printers independently. Anyone under the age of 16 will be supervised in the use of the 3D printer.
Learn to use CCLD Makerspace’s Epilog laser cutter and engraver. Certification will cover use of CorelDraw for creating designs to send to the laser and how to operate the laser.
Certification courses are for anyone 16 and up (anyone under 16 will require supervision to use equipment).
